Event Chef
We are excited to be looking for a variety of chefs to join our businesses, including the position of Event Chef.
The role will be located in Hawarden within a pool of chefs based at our award winning Farm Shop and AA Welsh Pub of the Year, The Glynne Arms.

You will have a background of working in a busy kitchen with a seasonally-led menu. Creative flair is encouraged. You will have a natural eye for detail and a keen willingness to learn and advance your career.
This role will oversee the creation of events menus, guest Chef support and all event food production and service across our businesses.
You will be responsible for planning, organising and communicating between the kitchen, restaurants, event spaces and wider teams. In this role, you will build a highly motivated team by taking an active interest in coaching them. you will have their welfare, personal development and best interests at heart.
As Events Head Chef you will be an inspirational leader. You will motivate and develop your team to create a culture of passion and enthusiasm for the production and service of the events menus to the very best standard.
You, as the Event Head Chef, will be guest focused and will cultivate an excellent working partnership with the Events Managers, Restaurant Managers, Senior Managers, Directors and Owners. You will use creative thinking and initiative to develop ideas and problem solve.

You must have experience of working in, and leading, a busy kitchen with a seasonally led menu. We like new ideas and so a creative flair is a must. We want you to showcase your talent and contribute to seasonal changes.
An eye for detail and willingness to learn are critical as we constantly strive for perfection.
The role demands a high level of integrity and professionalism along with unwavering compliance with all food safety processes and procedures. It is extremely important that you have experience in delivering dishes in line with spec sheets and in budget.
